The Happy Accountant
Oh, hello there!
I’m Samantha Musser, Owner & Founder of Chime CPA. With 12+ years of accounting experience, I’ve worked with hundreds of companies, but I was left with the feeling that I was trading in my personal life for my work life. After leaving an accounting firm where I was made partner at 31 I realized that I wanted to change the accounting industry by making it a happy place for employees and clients.
I have had many titles throughout my career from tax accountant, to auditor, controller, and partner. However, the most important title I’ve had is “mom,” which is what led me to leave the grind of public accounting to create a different type of accounting firm!
At Chime CPA, we value our unique personalities and desire to know our clients as people and business owners. We reject the idea that clients are just a number or a date on the calendar.

I leave my house for 3 reasons, to go to pilates, sporting events, or the beach. Otherwise, I am a homebody to the core where I can be with my husband, two human kids, and three furry kids. If I am not reading a book, I am either watching HGTV or trying a new recipe.

As a CPA I’ve seen some crazy financial situations, but at the end of the day, my job is to figure out where your money is going, and provide you with information about how your money is being made and spent so you can make informed financial decisions for your business.
Sometimes that means telling you what’s costing you money, sometimes that's telling you what you should keep doing to keep the cash rolling in, and other times…I am there to show you the money that’s just been hanging out, and waiting to be discovered.
